While you were tweeting.

Yesterday, a friend suggested we meet for lunch at the Wolfgang Buttress statue by the Bullring.  I had no idea where she was talking about, until she sent a photo.

Timbre, Wolfgang Buttress

‘Timbre’ was created by Wolfgang Buttress and is a tree-like sculpture designed with the principles of the Fibonacci sequence, often found in nature. It utilises reclaimed copper from the relocated Spiral Café.

I realised that I walk past this statue almost every day and yet to date, have barely consciously noted its existence.
